A beautifully restored house, for holiday lets, in the Lake District needed a new concept for the interiors. The client explained: "Originally built in 1722, we fell in love with the house’s symmetry, stonework and situation, and restored it to retain its character and reflect the land it was built on." Each window has a view over the hills and dales above Ullswater. 'Bringing the outside in' inspired the approach to colours, textures and is reflected in the collection of local pottery on display.
