HANDMADE BOOK

A life immortalised in a collection of original letters, emails and photographs from family and friends.

Japanese stab binding with cloth de-bossed cover. Inside: text printed on tracing paper which overlays the photographs. Paper wallet with easy open fixing allows further content to be added.

SMALL RUN POETRY BOOK

A lifetime's collection of poetry and some prose, gathered together for the client in a set of bespoke casebound books.

Layout design included prelims, poetry and prose. Book sections hand stitched, casebound with 3-piece book cloth sections and embossed title. Finished with a printed wrap.

Mountain adventures
HANDMADE NOTE BOOK 

Book made as a gift for my son, a hiking and mountain biking enthusiast. The challenge was to create covers and binding a for a non-standard book shape.

The interior pages include tick lists for hiking and biking locations, pages on which to record events, and photography.

Guy Fawkes effigy
FESTIVAL SHOWCASE

Chalkfield boutique festival commissioned a flammable Guy Fawkes figure for their event. The effigy, made from papier-mâché and bamboo sticks, was primed with micro fireworks. As the bonfire burned the fireworks ignited creating a dramatic display against the night sky.
