The Support SEND Kids charity provides a vitally needed service for families, schools and local authorities who need guidance on getting children, with additional needs, the right education. A recent fundraising campaign raised the funds needed to expand the delivery of advice to a expanding range of users. This required an in-depth analysis of the stake holders through interview and mapping user pathways. The extensive build out of the Q&A platform delivered features required by each user type to better engage with the charity.
The proposed UX designs were created on Figma and tested with each user group, before implementation. It was essential to deliver for a wide range of literacy levels and accessibility. The completed site was tested with representatives of user groups. Ongoing performance is monitored on Google Analytics and Hotjar.
In addition to the UX strategy and design for the project, the client wanted us to deliver a social strategy and content to promote the new development and alert users to the change in design and usability.
