The Imperial War Museum has an extensive picture library. They curate collections of images around a theme for each of the books in this series.

This project was to create the next book in the series to mark the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landings, featuring images from the collect. It sits within the IWM Photo Collection series. The IWM online bookshop explains: "The D-Day Landings showcases 50 iconic photographs of the largest amphibious assault ever undertaken in the history of conflict."
